Check out my other site

I signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in August 2011 and have been so busy playing with their products, creating samples and taking part in various events with other demonstrators...

So, I haven't had time to play with my general crafting stash and this site has been totally neglected.  You can still purchase cards from me here - just check out the relevant pages (linked above) or email me with your order details.

From time to time I will try and post the odd card or two here, made from the other different products on the market, but please do spend some time checking out my other site which is updated daily with projects and ideas using mostly Stampin' Up! products.

Happy crafting :) x

New catalogue now available

Hi all!

I have finally revised my catalogue to incorporate some of the popular cards from my last catalogue and lots of new cards.  So why not browse these online here.  Or contact me and I will email you a pdf version or pop a copy in the post to you.

I'm back

Back from my travels and refreshed... and back in the thick of it!

I haven't had time to make many cards to post but here is one that I have been saving up.

It's made from Hello Kitty wrapping paper - I have cut out one of the images and layered it up and then mounted it on a piece of the background part of the paper.  I've added a flower cut from a Sizzix die and the rest is just card stock and rub on sentiment.

The great thing about using wrapping paper for cards is that you can match these with the paper you use for the present.... particularly good for cartoons and characters such as Hello Kitty and Thomas the Tank Engine.

Penny black

I've been saving this card up for the Penny Black challenges, but keep forgetting to check to see if it is appropriate for the latest challenge.  So instead I am just sharing it with you for this scheduled post as it seems a shame to leave it to wait for another day.  The Penny Black stamps are fantastic as they have some many different images in each set and very reasonably prices.  I've coloured this one with markers and mounted in on a variety of card stocks and finished off with some ribbon and a peel off sentiment.  I'm not sure what occasion this suits but I sent it to a friend on their anniversary... hopefully they liked it as much as I do.

Ooh it's almost October, which means I will be back soon - see you then x

The stamp has been coloured with water colour pencils, mounted on mirror card and then set on the rest of the background, which is just cardstock.

Gardening guy

I seem to have saved up all the male cards for the recent posts.  Another quick card today I'm afraid as time is short.  This one includes a wooden embellishment which is so cute.  I've then punches some black cardstock with a scalloped punch and mounted this above some DSP from the male Forever Friends pack.  Simple by I really like it :).

21st Football

My posts have been a little sporadic of late... mainly because I have scheduled a few whilst I am off on holiday in Eastern Europe.  It's been a while since I had a proper holiday...
Today's card was created for a friends son.  All I had to go on was a blue themed football card for a 21st, no team details so I just went with something that co-ordinated and kept it simple.  The DSP is from the Forever Friends male pack and the footballs were cut from leftover wrapping paper that I had saved for a time like this.

The stamp which is one of my favourites for male cards comes from the It's a Mans World by Papermania... you can adapt it for a rugby theme too and there are lots of different sporting bits included in the set, so endless options.

Another 10 days until I return... so more scheduled posts to follow in a few days.

Cats and dogs

Todays card is a take on another card that I created for some swaps at my last training social event.  I absolutely love the Every Little Bit stamp set from Stampin' Up! as there are so many ideas you can create from the numerous little stamps.  This card features the dog and cat in an anniversary theme.  The papers and cardstock are all Stampin' Up! products and very similar to my other card posted here.
